TR Hacks - Speedhack : FPS / MMORPG / RTS Discussion

Well, speed hacking works, very well too. Things don't warp around exactly.. if somebody's running, they'll run a little faster, then walk, repeat. It doesn't look terrible.

Start up Tabula Rasa
Start up Cheat Engine
Click the very top left button on Cheat Engine
Scroll down until you find tabula_rasa.exe (It'll have some numbers in front of it) and click it
Click OK

Right side, click 'enable speedhack'
Under Speed, put the multiplier you want (1 is 100%, normal, 2 is 200%, 2x speed, and higher numbers for beyond)
Click 'Set Speed'
Go back into Tabula Rasa
Enjoy!


As for detection, these thing will almost always get detected at some point. Use at your own risk. However, since it's free open beta, now is the time to.

I generally run around at 2x speed and nobody says anything. I ran around at 20x speed for an hour yesterday, and have not gotten contacted by any GMs or anything, just to test it. However, this doesn't mean it's not detectable, it could just be that GMs are too busy.

just letting you know it doesnt seems to work if activated inside an "instance" quest. but works if activated outside and you then enter it. at least thats what happened to me.

This works really nice, it makes getting around on the bigger maps much less of a hassle. Also its not a "malignant" cheat, unless you use it in pvp.

i tryed this with in regards to your steps
but after this there was no where to put in what speed wanted to run at im running vista is this the problem? so maybe it dont work now or im doing something wrong couldsome one eplain or offer some tip's please

I have vista and it works great, kinda kills the perpose of the game...

whats the point i treid it and it works but everything in tabula rasa moves at high speed not just your char no advantage at all as far as i can see

This is only useful for traveling... or it was prior to the teleportation devices that are now sold at vendors.

You would not want to use this while fighting.

one of the many shortcomings of TR is the speed of movement. It seems the devs get a kick out of boring the players to death. make em run from one side of the map to the next for no reason other than "because we said so"
the speed hack does help with this, but be forwarned they are looking for players using such and with the next update more than likely you will get caught using it as they have introduced a new procedure that will report extreme de-sync issues as well as erronous "deadreckoning" calls by the server....
