EVE Skill Trainer - Does it Work? : EVE Online General Discussions

Can anybody tell me before I pay for a premium membership, does the EVE10 Skill Trainer actually train skills for you? If so, how hands-free is it? Can I just setup a queue of twenty 1st and 2nd level skills that don't take very long, walk away from my computer for two days, and come back to find that they've all trained?

Thanks,
WhitePhantom

Yes, it works great but as its name implies, it can only do 10 skills, which really isnt bad at all, especially if they are 1-4 hr ones and you are away for awhile, you come back and they are done for ya. good luck

There is a new Skill trainer comming out that is located at http://www.mofiki.com

There is already a free beta trial for testing out. It works great for me it logs in changes the skill and logs out when the skill is up.

The site says that the full version will be available May 1, 2008

The trial only does learning skill and only one at a time but the actual release will allow for a Queue of 3-5 skills and has all skills available.

I know one of the dev's from playing a game called Project Entropia a while back... his alias is actually Caitiff Mason I just used that as my login because the only login I normally use is also my Eve login so i descided it was safer using his Alias.

His Eve login is different than the name he uses in forums. so it works out okay like that.

But back to the proggy the trial works great i'm going to get a early release test version (full version) hopefully this weekend and i'll let you know how it works.

I went to purchase pre release version for $14.99. got to my paypal account and it said $34.99. A clear $20 difference from the price quoted.....

I just got a pm on the forums there saying that its been fixed this morning. But i'd wait to buy it until I have tryed the trial for a while first to make sure that it works seamlessly on my computer.

You should post it under their bugs in the forums there if you find Problems that way they know .... although they aparently found out about this one.

Thanks for that caitiffmason. With the cost of the trainer going up at the end of the month, I would be very keen to see how you get on with the trial version.
