Submissions Frequently Asked Questions and Rules

Before you submit anything, PLEASE thoroughly read this post. If your submission does not abide by one of these rules, or your question is answered in this FAQ, the thread will be locked with a link to this post, informing you to RTFM.

Submission FAQ

What is a Submission?
A: A submission is when you create or find(give credit) a cheat, guide, or program in a game.
What do i get from submissions?
A: Well if you find something and it get 3 yays from the community you will be granted free premium time to TU based on the submission.
Im already premium so why should i submit?
A: Premium Members get TU Bucks. Which can be used to get new six month lumps of membership time. As well they can use them in the future to buy items in our TU Store.

How do i reply to my submissions?
A: You can use the edit button to add in more information.
What does YAY or Nay Mean?
A: If multiple yays are given then premium will be granted and / or TU bucks will be given.

When the site started the mods and admins where the only people to say if something is worthy of being moved to premium. But as time passed people felt it was unfair for only a select few to judge. So we created the yay / nay system.

Yay = the item was usefull and worth moving to the confirmed areas

Nay = the item is not usefull and shouldnt be moved but locked isntead.

When a regular members submits something they will need 3 yays for more popular sections (1 or 2 for less active areas). Then depending on what the information is premium will be granted or tu bucks.

If members say 3 nays before 3 yays the topic is locked and nothing is done.

Remember works have to be original or you may be banned

If you are a premium member it takes only one or 2 yays to have your information moved to the confirmed section and tu bucks granted to help extend your membership or purchase special real life items.
Where do I post a submission?
All submissions must be posted in the submissions forum. To go there just click a game on the left navigation box. Then find its submit info / submissions area and post there. If you post them elsewhere, you risk leaking your valuable submission to people who can see it without premium access. Your post will be moved ASAP, but don't do it to begin with.
When I post my submission, can everyone else see it?
No. The only people that can view submissions are premium members and moderators. You do not need to worry about someone else stealing your submission. If you are worried about a premium member stealing your submission... stop, because we would know and action would be taken immediately.
When will my submission be accepted or declined?
It can take anywhere from hours to a week or two. Not everyone on this forum is able to actively test every single submission. In order for your submission to be accepted, premium members must review your submission and it must be confirmed by either ONE (1) moderator or THREE (3) premium members. A moderator may ask for a confirmation, at which point, only one premium member has to confirm it for it to be accepted.
Where can I host a video of my submission?
Just click the attach file button when you post your message and attach any video file you like.
Where can I host screenshots, maps, or other images?
Just attach any pictures you like using the add attachment button when you post your message. You can then display the image on your post using the [img] tags supported by phpBB.

ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN THE SUBMISSIONS FORUM AND NO WHERE ELSE!!!

General Rules For Submission

Do NOT plagiarize. We will know if you've copied and pasted the information from another site, or you may have even ripped off a site that ripped of Tault Unleashed. We will know, the thread will be locked, and you will be warned, and made fun of, a lot.
Do NOT whine if no one has said anything about your submission. Most of us have lives here, and we can't always immediately test your submission to confirm it. Complaining about how many views the thread has recieved will not get it confirmed any faster.
DO NOT make a post that says "I have a good exploit but won't share it until I get premium". We aren't stupid. The submissions forum can only be viewed by other premium members and moderators. If your submission hasn't been accepted after a long time, chances are, it sucks and no one likes it. Claiming that someone is going to steal your information and submit it themself is an unfounded claim, because the moderators would obviously know. If you do this your thread will be locked, and we might have a negative disposition toward you. This includes being made fun of, a lot, if you choose to stay around.
DO NOT post the PRIMA GUIDE!!!!! It's a piece of crap, nobody wants it.
DO NOT post links to other websites. ... unless that website is EXTREMELY valuable and filled to the brim with information that cannot be found anywhere else. No one cares about just another fansite with the same stuff that every other site has.
Your submission must be quality. This means that you should press the enter key sometimes when typing something very long, you should attempt to type in English, make some sort of effort in maintaining readable punctuation and grammar, and you MUST make sense (yes, vague, but people will let you know if you are being a senseless idiot)
If you are submitting images you should attempt to keep them all on one thread, and not span multiple threads. There is no easy way to merge threads on this board yet, so make it easy on the moderators.
Be descriptive in your thread title. People are more likely to look at something that says "10k per hour, desert chest run" rather than "quick money fast." Thus, you may recieve your premium access faster.
