Hello there, long time since i last visited tault and i saw that my premium membership has been expired so here is a little exploit i'd like to share. I cannot guarantee that it will work for you but it worked for me. I accidently deleted a TIER 1 bracer (BoE) and asked a gm to restore it ( Please note you only have 3 restores per account ) when i got the item back in the mail it wasn't bound to me so i could sell it again..

So to make a long story short
1. Delete a BoE had equipped but don't need anymore
2. Ask a GM to restore
3. Get your item out of the mail ( not bound to you )

as i said i only did this once so i cant confirm the gm's are always that stupid =)

The items do come in their default state when restored. So if the item was BoP it is already BoP if the item was originally BoE it is BoE again. I say yay since some people don't know this, but, a suggestion to all players, save your 3 restores in case you delete or lose something you really want back, maybe a quick way to make some gold but you will kick yourself for it later.

Not all GMs will restore an item just like that but some will. Just depends on the GM Ill hold off on YAY or NAY for now.

I've done this in WoW vanilla and had it come back to me BOP. A mate recently got hacked and got all his gems and enchants back. It really depends on the GM. I wouldn't go delete an item for the risk.

And this is very very old. I'm surprised at the yays but it doesn't sound like they've tested it recently.

i havent tested it recently. i did report a bunch of stuff on an account i had that deleted a bunch of stuff and got it back, but i didnt think to check to see if boe stuff was boe again or not. a year or so ago though, a different account was hacked and when i got my stuff restored there were no enchants. must have changed now

If a restored item was boe, it will return boe. Whoever says 3 restores epr account is incorrect also. I've had over half a dozen restores done. It all depends on your attitude ( I find a well written ticket helps tremendously ) and the attitude of the GM you get. I had been denied a restoral on three items by one GM, filed another ticket and the second GM restored them to me after about 10 minutes of talking and checking.

it depends on the type of restore. if your account is hacked then it doesnt count against you. if you delete a quest reward, it generally does get noted.

first off that is not a very good idea anyway.. a GM also should tell you that accounts have a limited amount of restorations so if your account uses all of them up and something real bad happens, then your screwed.. also i did this twice once a long while back and i got it BOE so i tried it again when i decided i didnt want an item anymore, and it was BOP.

i was reading this and wondering, if you deleted every boe item you have all at once, and you tell a GM you think you got hacked, i wonder if they will restore all your BoE items and only count it as one restore, anyone have any feedback to this?
