Hey all i have a very nice exploit for you. You may know the Blind One, the hardest boss in Dar Narbugud. Well after this he won't be so hard anymore... :)
Once you are in phase 2 just do what you all have to do (killing darklings, DPS boss) well that's easy. Then if he is going to start phase 3 have your burglar(s) to open a Fellowship Manouvre, this will prevent the Blind One from stacking corruptions for the entire phase 3!!!
There goes the hardest boss in the game, easy loot! :)

This is a /nay

Its all about the timing of the conjunction and it does not always work. Tried and tested a few times already on my burg and its not always 100% guaranteed.

Well like I say reading the lotro forums, us and codemasters, the "exploits" are almost always posted there first

Quoted comment: There is a way to stop him stacking corruptions. And this isn't an exploit. If you don't know about it, i won'T explain because it turns the 3. stage from a fight into a joke....

REPLY: been looking a bit at the german forums and there is something about using a cj when hes about to change to phase 3, you need to use the cj when hes saying i gather the shadows or something.

by doing so this kinda looks like a exploit as they most likely didnt designed the fight to stop the corruptions

end of quote

from: http://community.codemasters.com/forum/showthread.php?t=386357

they then quote from the German forums and quote a codemaster game guy (not turbine) saying in short using a skill to stop/stun/prevent from casting a monster isnt an exploit, that is why so many classes have skills designed to do that

then they argued if a cj is like a skill like clobber or another classes equivelant

a lot of words to say this is a little known, talked about in the open forums....

but not a yay or nay

its good to see a new person posting info that known or not wasnt here before (course again that may be an indication of how well it is known)

Any interrupt skill has a chance of causing the boss to not stack the corruptions.

Any interrupt skill that breaks his animation can cause this but a very good way of doing it is by starting a CJ as most other stun/mez/daze moves will be resisted/immuned

It's well known already, and it doesn't work all the time.
