**** Smartin's Macro Miner Version 2.1.1****
**************************************

IN RESPONSE TO eliwitt's POST.
SET YOUR DESKTOP RESOLUTION TO 1280x1024 BEFORE RUNNING THE MACRO AND EVERYTHING WILL WORK.

THE SCRIPT SETS UP ALL OF YOUR EVE SETTINGS FOR YOU. TO DO THIS IS JUST NEEDS TO BE IN 1280x1024 RESOLTUION

Sorry if i did not make this clear at the start.

I stopped editting the last macro and used it for personal use due to it being, well a bit buggy and shite.

What does it do?

Starts EVE
Logs you In
Sets up EVE and chooses your character
Warps to a belt bookmark
Deploys combat drones (If you tell it to)
Mines the specific ores which you have chosen
Checks to see if cargo is full
Warps back to an insta dock bookmark of station
Unloads
Cycle begins again
Pause button so you can pause and restart script at anytime

What will it do once i'm finished? (Stuff i'm working on right now)

Choice of resolution to run at
Check if asteroid has been depleted or you have got target jammed
Use mining drones
Use shield booster/armor repairer
Use afterburner
GUI
Make it a little less buggy, less dependant on time

Thats just a little bit of information about it.

Couple of notes, i do not collect usernames and passwords! They will meerly be stored on your local system and used to start EVE.

If desired i will produce a version that you can start from the character selection window.

Erm the readme pretty much tells you how to set it up.

It runs with windows at a resoltuion of 1280 x 1024 ONLY at the moment.

If you choose to download this and run it then please give feedback, screenshots and flaming welcome. Post in thread or PM me please.

Enjoy

PS: Use at risk in very high sec atm (Goonies are going around and killing many barges etc)

Nay - I'll go into length here so it can be fixed.

1st off, the author is not clear on which I should use, "windows" (ED?) or fullscreen? (The readme states "Set your resoloution to 1280 x 1024")

When the program is loaded, It's obvious the script was setup to get by the EULA thing(Assumption of /safemode load begins here), the mouse is moved to where it would move the bar to the bottom, hit ok then move to do the user/pass combo... But it misses the boxes, typing the password into the username and nothing in password.

Then just sits and the mouse does it's whole thing. If I pause the script upon EVE load, then switch to FULLSCREEN 1280x1024(Windowed 1280 gets me nothing, the mouse dosent go anywhere near what it needs to), go by the EULA myself then unpause, the script will properly log me in.

Then the mouse clicks a bunch to go to the upper left char (One I spec'ed in settings) - But it clicks where the upper left picture is in relation to the main one..... if it were the upper RIGHT picture, so no dice there. I didn't bother trying to go around char select by pausing and going from there, as I don't think that will do much.

From what I can see here, at least with my testing (On both of my PC's) the only problem is loading into /safemode**, and possibly coord's for mousemove in the char select portion

** - I'm not 100% sure on that... When it loads EVE, it will reset to 1024x768 fullscreen... but insead of the u/p combo being blank like it should w/ /safemode, the username is filled in with my 2nd account.

(I have 3 EVE accounts, I'm trying to log into the 3rd, the 2nd was the 1st one that PC ever logged into EVE with, I'm assuming that got cached/stored somwhere.)

Guys, look at post dates. His last post/edit was made in 08. I think I am right in saying it is now 2010. Things generally stop working as things are not edited or updated.
:(

Like me, sometimes developers of scripts move on to other work. It's why I provide the original source. It lets my code live on even after I've stopped playing a game.

:)

I encourage developers to post the raw code so that :
A. Users know it's not a virus and
B. So it can be revised and built upon by others.
