Help with Durchest : LOTRO - Submissions

Is there any way to lessen the +melee damage buff he gets every time you kill a guard? We havent been able to down him yet.

We managed the Gauntlet at second try, we clean it in 10-15 mins with no deaths, but somehow Durchest is giving us a hard time

Dúrchest gets a new HoT every time someone dies, so don't let anyone die. Easy mode, Dúrchest drops the Shoes. Hard mode is to kill Dúrchest and all 10 of his guards, so either kite him for a while and kill the adds for hard mode (other things happen there too) or just kill him as soon as you can. In Hard mode, he also drops the Chest piece.

Dúrchest has a special distributed frontal AoE distributed damage attack which will stack with itself and will nerf aggro. The distributed attack can eventually build up to a total of -210% aggro. Two people should aggro Dúrchest and let their -aggro start to build up, while keeping Durchest faced away from the rest of the party. Once their aggro starts to get high enough, a third person (Guardian?) should start gathering aggro on Dúrchest from range, still keeping Durchest faced away from the rest of the party. If the two original people stay in front of Dúrchest within melee range, then they will get up to -100% aggro and the ranged tank will only have -10% aggro.
