Post subject: | UW Trapping Ranger with 60 Energy |
I run a standard UW trapping build with 47 energy. Every Trapper I've met has 47 energy (or less) from a staff with +10 and +5 energy. However on the wiki trapper build page it says: "Note: There is a wand/artifact combination that gives the trapper 60 energy, the names of these items are unknown at this time." A mystery!! Yeah probably the offhand +12 e +15 e -1 e regen |

I have a trapping ranger and i tried out the different off hands and so on trying to find out how i could get the most energy. True having that much energy is nice but you have to sacrifice at least one pip of energy regen once you get above 50. i was able to hit almost 70 but only had 1 pip of regen. I am happy with my 3 pips of regen and my 50 mana. I use a staff but not a "normal" staff. |

I agree with dave. My staff gives me max but no loss of energy regen. |

bonus nrg isnt worth it with expertise and regen the 3 pips is plenty enuf to spam away |

Thanks for the replies. I agree that the degen isn't worth the extra energy - I use one of the green staffs that give +10 +5 energy and +30 HP to give me 47. The only other way I know to increase this without degen is to get the collectors staff and put a perfect +5 mod on it to give +18 - very expense for +3 energy when green staffs are dirt cheap. |
