Hey all,

I don't like to !@#$%^&* about things but this warrants it. I recenlty did a deal with a guy named The Will Of God. I was paying for a fiery dragon sword with some crafting items and some gold. At the last second when I was hitting accept he took took the sword and it was too late. He told me he would be back but of course he never returned. Is there a way to pay this jagoff back? I'm dying to know. Please can the noob jokes. It's one thing to find exploits in the game. It's another to screw a fellow player. That is the worst scum there is.

Well, I can't think of a way to bother him. He probably has you on /ignore. Perhaps everyone here could harass him? I know I will ;) Other than that, I have no idea. I too have been screwed out of my money for a droknar's run. He just /ignore me and I am left with my arse in the breeze

I been thinking of creating a "Scammer" section to my site www.klownz4life.com, so people can identify those who scam others as well as their guild name with screen shots of them doing it. If anyone has any suggestions on this please feel free to post here to let me know. Thanks

What chaffs me is that even though I'm the injured party I have no right to resolution of this. This is anoher example of the corporate brush off.
Gotta love it.

I totally agree, and thats why I think creating such a page as stated above will at least dim their chances at doing the same thing to another player. Theres just so much a person can take before we the players should take action ourselves.

So if you have any one else saying these things to you please report there names to us so we can investigate the issue further."

If you have screen shots, this would be a help. Although I don't believe that Anet will do anything unless there are multiple complaints. This is because you could photoshop an image easily enough.

Just try to let the public know that the guy is a scammer, and post your screenies in a complaints thread in one of your local forums. Anet staff do actually read the forums, so if you can start a thread with screenshots, and get a few others to verify that the person is a scammer, there's a good chance the guy will be banned.

Post subject:  they dont care

trust me, i was a noob a while back, when i just started playing guildwars, and i had a decent supply of money, close to 500k from some of my friends.

Well, i saw a "maxxed out cesta" for blood magic necros... and it gave you "30 energy / 30 health" - so i was like OMG ITS A GOLD MAXXED OUT CESTA... and well, it was just a collector's item, that had upgrades... and was only 27 energy, still 30 health though.

Anyway, I paid this bastard (or !@#$%^&*, the name was "Necro Babe", but was a guy) - 100plat, thinking it was the rarest item of it's type in the game... well a 500gold collector's item isn't the rarest item in the game... anyway, now i have more energy than an elementalist as my necro, but i paid the price of 100k to get it... luckily i got a gold blood magic maxxed truncheon from a friend for 25k the next week... but either way, scammers suck... especially when they take advantage of newcomers to the game, i didn't even feel like playing after i lost that much money, i was like !@#$%^&* this !@#$%^&*... heh

But anyway, note to you guys - when in doubt, don't !@#$%^&* spend that much money. Just play the game and earn it yourself, that's what i do now, :)

Scammers suck, and ArenaNet sucks too, they won't do !@#$%^&* to help the scammed. They promote it.

!@#$%^&* you Arena.net (not really, i love your game, but seriously, be nicer to people who get !@#$%^&* over by the people with no lives who love to torture us)
