hey iw as thinking last night, is it possible to re install guild wars, then run a program while playing it to keep guild wars from automatically downloading the updates? if there was such a program think of everything u could do!

no, they do verification to check your version and match it to the servers. I mean, you can leave your GW running forever and never have to update but you wouldn't get very far, since every time you zone it does this check process and downloads different instances

that would be the most tedious thing in the world. I don't think you could make something to edit all those dynamic packets

true, although you could program and AI bot to do it, after about 5 months worth of work
