Ok, let me help you a little.

U might find some step by step guide into website like guildwarsguru.com or guildwars wiki. You can find guide here too, but u need to be little more experimented.

To charm animal, simply kill an animal (innofensive one) and after charm it with your charm skill. (u need to be ranger,.. r/-- or --/r)

I think I know your problem here, u talk about the PvP island... Hum, right, if you have a create a pvp char, u cant go into Cantha (the pve place).. U need to make a pve char to go into pve place... There you gonna be able to charm, make money, buy skill, make quest etc...

1 mil in gw is hard to have... I never have that much at the same time... Now i have 200k into my storage... We also count into Ecto (rare material worthing 4.5k each)

If u need help, pm me, i am expert into the cantha questing etc (have beat the game into 15hours :))

Little Addendum:

Charming animals...don't kill it! Just target a 'green named animal'. Then select the charm animal skill (you must be a rnager to do this). You then have to wait a little time whist the skill works, during which time the animal is attacking you. When the skill finishes the animal is green again and is yours.

He will only follow you around if you have charm animal in your skill bar. If he dies he will resurrect everytime you zone to a new area.

If you get fed up of him you have to find a tamer. They are normally just outside a main city (I think there's one outside Shing Jea Monastery) and will take the animal of you. Then you can find a bigger and meaner one to tame. :)

map maker: No such thing. However if you press 'u' whilst adventuring you'll get a handy mini map. If you press 'm' you'll get the whole world map. It will only show the areas you have been though.

In PvP you need to win battles to earn faction points, not having played PvP yet I have no idea where the dude is to cash them in but he should be fairly evident. If you have a PvE (role playing)character any skills you unlock there will also be avaiable for any PvP charcaters.

As to how much 1mill of SWG money is worth I have no idea. unless you do a trade with someone I will assume that selling the money and/or buying money in GW is against the gaming agreements. however a bit of fighting in the roleplaying universe will give some money to start with.

Tips: Salavge anything you don't need to start with. You'll need the stuff then to make armor. Try to sell any coloured weapons as they are magically embued and could be worth more in 'trade' with real players.

Where possible try to go it alone or with little henchmen help as possible, this means you get more things dropping off killed enemies.

Was not going to post since what I have to say is way non-constructive, but truely? Why the hell did you spend close to $50. plus tax on a game and not even crack open the manual? Every question in the first part of your post are answered there. Would have saved you time and frustrating effort to find out that this game is multi faceted, having more than a couple ways to play and actually needs creative thinking. I tell ya what, don't join me in group play because it is PUG's like you that make the game less enjoyable for the majority.

I haven't played all the way through yet but it seems that the armour in Kaineg Centre seems to be top armour level so far.

Weaponsmiths are all over the place and depends on what you want. i found one in the undercity that had a few interesting ones (for lots of salvage items and 5k in gold)

Pets have no Xp bar i can find so it's just a nice surprise when it happens :)

As i said in my last post, I have no idea how much SWG money is worth for open trade.

Post subject:  Canthan Armorsmiths

Here is a list of armorists in Cantha that I'm aware of, there could potentially be others. The armor in Kaineng is max just like the rest of the places just buying in different places have different looks.

1.5k

- Kaineng City
- Wajjun Bazaar

15k

- Vasburg Armory (Kurzick Alliance)
- Leviathon Pits (Luxon Alliance)
- Imperial Sanctum (Canthan/Imperial [defeat Shiro first])
