Yes if it was an item and not gold it usually has a game id. Most newer games have checks for 2 items with the same id.

ahhh just play the game this kind of chat gets old... if you cant figure it out then you dont deserve it

what good is duping stuff. sure you get all the good gears and are rich but what good is it. you just completly kill your gameplay and begin inflation because you can pay any ammount for any item

i agree with lilfisher exactly why cause mass inflation and evry item has its own code so your just asking for a ban

Items cannot be duped, each item has its own individial number which is in constant communication between servers.... if 2 are detected on your character then you could get banned

Ummm, yeah we know you and a few other said the exact same thing...

Any bots or programs used to boost your gold or drops and alter the game in anyway and Anet will ban your account instantly, there good at monitoring that stuff, which is good work, there was an exploit with the Gold where you could double it every time from the trade window, but Anet patched it,

Why do people wanna cheat like that who knows, and then when they get caught its i didnt do anything.

If they did a great job at it, they would be less korean bots in Droks running out to battle the trolls in the cave.


Well they used to inhabit Augury Rock until the nerfed the gryphons, now its international Droks they all run about in.

Contrary to popular belief, those "bots" are not actually bots. Those are Asian people who work in sweatshops day in, day out to farm gold for ebay. These people do use macros to automate parts of their farming runs however, there is a person controlling the character.

I actually believe Anet is selling most of the Gold on Ebay, even if there was mass farming Anet would know for sure and nerf the crap out of them so they work with who-ever is doing this and turn good drops around and stick them right up our ---

I don't quite believe anet is behind most of the gold selling...this is my take however. I would say there is a good number of "sweatshop farming accounts" in the game right? IF anet were to outright ban these accounts or truly go after the gold sales on ebay, It would decrease the overall player count in the game therefore the overall popularity would be diminished in the eyes of the gaming world which would equal less profits for anet as less people would be inclined to buy the game. anyway that is just my two cents
