I think that the level 20 cap is an ok thing. I think that if the level was any higher that the game would have to be bigger. but they could add an area like a god place that level 20 peoples could only go and it provide them with extreme challenges were they needed to ban together and us real skill to even have a chance.

i think it would be better to have higher lvl's cuz in the newest games they are coming out with new monsters and harder monsters above lvl 24 whihc would be like killing an elite lvl 20 at the same time os i think it should be at lvl 30 for monsters and chars.

Well i have no problem with the level 20 cap in fact i like it better then the other MMOs. I came to Guild Wars fact that it is about skill rather while in CoH and CoV it was just a long race to reach level 50 my first had taken me friggen 2 months. But yeah leave it how it is

Here's the problem. You increase the level cap, you also have to increase the limit of how much a attribute can hold, also increase the damage of weapons, and add enemies with higher levels than the player.

Example

Increase to level 40.
Health would be 880 at the end.
Max points per attribute would be 24.
And the maximum attribute points would be 400.
Max weapon damage would have to increased as well.

Oh sure this is great for hardcore PvE players, but think about PvP.

I mean you could say, "Well if they want to get to level 40 just create a custom build PvP player and they're all set." But we all know that when we go into PvP we see PvE players with cool armor and weapon skins.

Believe me I like higher levels. But Anet wants the player base to get into PvP play as quick as possible, and if you're not into PvP then they try to give as much PvE content as they can.

I'd like the idea to have higher levels, but I at level 40 would just be doing the same percentage of damage if I were level 20.

If the lvl wasn't capped at 20 it would be harder for new characters to get into the game. It could end like lineage2 with high lvls slaughtering noobs for fun.(they might have fixed this, been a while since i played)

The level cap should stay at 20....it doesn't need to move...you don't need more levels...

Factions should have been expanded more than it was...as it is you can get to 20 in a day easily...that's probably why people are complaining about the level cap.

They need to make the campaigns as long as Prophecies but unrunnable like Factions....

The thing I like about Guild Wars PvE (which is mostly what I play) is that I can get to the top level rather quickly...and enjoy the end game without having to worry about leveling up....the limits in the game are the skills you can equip and you skill not your level...

The map should be runnable. I loved exploring Tyria and finding new places (and being allowed in regardless)

a higher level would make people want to play the game more but then the creators of hte game would have to make more content for just about everything

i do like how it makes this game more of a teamwork game, but i do enjoy the leveling up in RPGs, would be cool if they made more server choices for people who prefer different gameplay types
