Post subject:  Interesting MM build.

I recently tried to do a MM build, thinking that N/Mo would solve the case I found that I couldn't keep the heals up due to low energy. N/Me wouldn't work either as energy theft spells were slow to casting.

I also got tired of using Verata's Sacrifice and waiting for the long recharge if I had 4 or more minions. That's when it hit me, why not N/E? That's when the build started to shape.

N/E MM build.

16 Death Magic. 12+3+1
13 Soul Reaping 12+1

Armor:
Best to wear armor that adds defense for any minions you control.
Boots that decrease the cast time using minion spells.
And making sure you have a Grim Cesta that gives you a 20% chance of having +1 death magic.

Skills:
1)Animate Vampiric Horror
---Minion that steals health from enemies which you receive as health.
2)Blood of Master
3)Verata's Sacrifice
4)Verata's Aura
5)Deathly Swarm
6)Rotting Flesh
7)Glyph of Renewal
8)Resurrect Signet

What to do:
-Use Deathly Swarm and Rotting Flesh to kill off enemies.
-Exploit corpses using Animate Vampirc Horror.
-Blood of Master and Verata's Sacrifice to heal minions.
-Verata's Aura to steal enemy minions or reclaim yours if they are stolen.
-Use Glyph of Renewal to nullify the recharge of Verata's Sacrfice if you have four minions or above. -OR-
-Use Glyph of Renewal to nullify the recharge of Vampiric Horror giving you chance to summon a second minion immediatly after the first.

Resurrect Signet to raise fallen party members.

Tested in Alliance battles and PvP. Don't know how it would do in PvE.

Comments and criticisms welcomed.

Hmm. sounds like a good idea but i would rather have a mixture of fiends/horrors and vampiric. With 3 skills to do with raising peeps you never run out a skill to use.

I still will try this one though although my necro is quite a way of perdition rock to cap the elite where as the other 3 skills are available nearly straight away.

wheres the energy manegment i alwaysed used a N/E but i use Glyph of Lesser Energy

if u use Glyph of Renewal u cant have a golem

besides its not hard to maintain 10 minions

Ok, well, I used the FG [E] at the start, but like you, had energy management problems. Then I thought of my Mo/Nec. On him I use Offering Of Blood [E].
I dropped the FG [E], and now I use OoB [E], and my energy is always topped out no matter what minion I use. Right before you use it however, throw Healing Breeze on yourself, then use BotM, then OoB [E], then healing circle. You will be able to create your minions w/o the worry of health or energy.
This is what I perfer, it may not be what your looking for, but works well for me.

that's a well known build I used up till I got Flesh Golem....though I used another animate skill rather than aura...

and energy management with that is just fine...got plenty of energy as long as your minions are killing...

Thanks for the ideas. I never though of using OoB. I'll try that out.

Right now I'm trying to come up with a good MM build for HA.
