1 - 7 In a Hour After you go get the quest ‘Bandit Trouble’ from an NPC up the stairs go into Lakeside County. The first thing I do in Lakeside is do my initial skill quest (takes 1 minute) then head on over to Ashford Abbey for the warp marker. Then I head over to Foibles Fair in Wizard’s Folly for another map marker. From there I follow the snowy path to the Wizard’s Tower to find the Elementalist Trainer and an Elementalist quest called ‘The Elementalist Experiment’. After accepting this quest you will be ambushed by 3 waves of 4 lvl 1 Ice Shards. I usually just wait till they all come and cast one Fire Storm to kill all 12. At level 1, each shard is worth 100 xp to you so that’s 1,200 xp instantly (and you’re now level 2). Instead of completing the quest you just warp to Foibles Fair and abandon the quest. Then you run right back out to the Elementalist NPC and start the quest again, after another 12 Ice Shards you’ll have received another 960 xp for your efforts. Warp back to Foibles Fair, abandon the quest and keep doing this process until you reach level 3 or 4, it should only take 15 minutes or so. When you hit level 3 or 4 warp to Ashford Abbey and go outside and run to where the Bandit Trouble quest marker is. You’ll see 4 bandits with flaming staffs heading straight for you. In the area there are also 2 sets of level 3 bandits that you can also agro by attacking them. Now you have 8 level 3 bandits to kill that will run into melee range once they are aggro’d. By optimizing your skill bar and using our strategy you’ll be able to grind off them for the next 30 or so minutes to hit level 7 and get ready for post searing. If you like you can always do the all the quests in pre-searing after you reach level 7. This should bring you up to 8 ½ but I never do. The only thing outside of class quests I do is whatever quests lead me to post searing. 7-10 These levels noteworthy because of xp but because they are to get your character to the next land mass as soon as possible. The quickest way through these levels is to just do the 4 missions that get you to Yak’s bend. By doing Great Northern Wall, Fort Ranik, Ruins of Surmia and Nolani Academy you are quickening your progression and obtaining decent amounts of xp as you go. Through this process don’t really worry about your xp bar too much, you’ll be making up for it later on. 10-13 The focus on this level range is not to level you quickly but to progress you through the game through missions. This level range will take you through 5 missions, Borlis Pass, The Frost Gate, Gates of Kryta, D’lessio Seaboard and Divinty Coast. If you’d like to bypass them you can just explore and make it to the next major cities. You can even pay a runner to get you there if you’re Mr. Moneybags. The whole point of this process is to get you to our major grinding spot: Druids Overlook. That’s where we’ll be taking our character from 13-20 or whatever your pleasure. On a side note you can pay a runner at Beacon’s Pearch to take you to Droknar’s Forge. At Droknar’s Forge you will have access to some of the higher level skills as well as the highest armor rating armor in the game. The armor will increase your margin of error as you grind and increase your XP during the grind. The 2-4k it takes to get your character a trip to Dronknar’s may very well be worth the gold in the long run. You will make your money back during the grind anyway. 13-20 I forget where you get all the skills like Meteor Shower and Inferno but you want to be up to that point, than head back to Gates of Kryta and Farm the Oink Farming spot until you get up to level 15 or 16, than from there on do the missions from D'Alessio to Maguuma including Villany of Galrath on the way (from lions Arch) and you will hit 20. As a Necromancer (w/ high lvl armor and Spiteful Spirit) I could take on 7 lvl 17 Fevered Devourers without much fear of death. At level 11, that’s 1,400 xp per minute with perfect 7 spawn sets. I actually timed my 12-13 grind and it took 12 minutes for the full level. The XP comes fast and you feel a huge ego kick by defeating large quantities of higher level mobs easily and efficiently. You also learn your character’s timing much better and understand the depth of that profession’s skills by their individual uses. Since I love this part I would often grind to level 20 in Druids Overlook but on my 4th character I only went to 18 then used gained the last 2 levels off necessary missions to get to and through the Crystal Desert. Im just trying to get a premium account by posting everything I know ***Changes Made*** |

ok, I made a nuker character to level 20 in 3 days, everything here is true for the most part except from 13-20 I disagree with. If you follow their 13-16 it will tkae you a couple days longer. Try this than I would accept it. 13-15 I forget where you get all the skills like Meteor Shower and Inferno but you want to be up to that point, than head back to Gates of Kryta and Farm the Oink Farming spot until you get up to level 15 or 16, than from there on do the missions from D'Alessio to Maguuma including Villany of Galrath on the way (from lions Arch) and you will hit 20. |
