Elona's Ranch can be argued as one of the toughest missions out there for those pre-20, pre-droknar armored people. Elona's ranch requires you to first face some minotaurs to get to a ghostly hero, turn in a crytal, and capture 2 other crystals in camps w/ dangerous mobs in under 30 minutes. However, you can bypass the time limit if you know how to glitch into the walls of elona's ranch. For this exploit to work while getting all your members of your past both gates, you'll need a ranger with the ability to summon spirits in your party. After you get to the ghostly hero, nobody talk to him; instead, have the ranger person stand still and have the rest of the party go side to side and bounce of him past the gate. When everyone is through, have the ranger cast a spirit and have him try to bounce off the spirit and past the gate. After everyone is through, make for the left gate (the right gate doesn't seem to work well while doing this bug). Repeat the same process. After you have defeated all the enemies and captured the crystals, have the ranger return back to the ghostly hero and give him the crystal. This triggers the cutscene. Wherever the other crystals were left when the cutscene was triggered will remain there as well as the remains of the slain enemies. Be warned however, that enemies go after the people carrying the crystal so drop it unless you are an earth elementalist who specials in wards and armor of earth ^^ |

Do I need to post pictures in order to get credit for this or something? I posted a nifty secret on the FFXI forums about monster timers and how to exploit knowing it's TOD. If there's another another submission on glitching in elona's ranch, lemme know, instead of having to wait blindly. |
