..This is assuming this has not been posted in the nerfed forums already (I'm not a premium member yet, so I don't know whats there..) This do *NOT* work, but perhaps someone else can think of a trick or something to get them to work... we'll see :/ PVP chararacters and PVE characters are only linked through your storage. That is, PVP characters are able to access the SAME stash that your PVE characters use (this is obvious already, nothing new here). How I thought we could have exploited this (I like to think of random things like this and test them -- that's how I found most of my current working exploits). Before the patch from May 11th, 2005 came out, this "scam" / "exploit" / etc did in fact *work*. Create a PVP character, for example we will name our character "Bob the Warrior". Pick out your weapons, with whichever runes you want, etc. The weapons and armor will be customized automatically for "Bob the Warrior". Place all your armor and weapons into your stash at the tombs or whever you spawn with your PVP character. Exit the game. Re-log back in, delete your character "Bob the Warrior". Create a new character. A PVE character. Name the PVE character "Bob the Warrior". Get out of pre-searing, get 50 gold, and purchase (unlock) your storage. Equip armor and weapons for "Bob the Warrior" -- go own everything. When I first tried this -- it worked. After the May 11th patch however, when all the tweaks were made to PVP arena's... after I logged in as my warrior, I noticed he was naked. LoL. All the items + armor got deleted, but thankfully my account was not closed. |
