Did you test this? I farmed a bunch of grawl neclaces from the frontier gate and turned them into plant fibers. Then I spent the money to turn them into bolts of linen. I returned to the vender in Ascalon City and noticed that they charge 513g to buy one, but will only pay me 15g for one! I hate the way merchants work in GW. They need a better player merchant community. Something better than people sitting around saying "WTS X" "WTB Y" |

i think he meant sell it to players in which case if the merchants are selling it for 513 a roll then that makes more sense. |

If so, it's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I once purchased 3 of these things for 450 gold. Nobody in their right mind would shell out 500 gold for 1 linen square. Would you? A steel ignot uses 5 iron ignots, a lump of charcoal (10 wood planks and 20 gold), and 200 gold to make, and they sell between 180-225. Not to be rude, but I think this is a stupid idea, there are WAY faster ways of making money than sitting back and haggling with the jerks in Ascalon City. |

Ppl are buying them for 500 and 550. thanks for !@#$%^&* my membership up" If you are so confident in that fact, then why didn't you just POST IT HERE rather than PMing me. Oh, that's right, because it's totally BS. I got 3 for less than 500 there is no way you can sell them for 500 a pop. And even if you do, you would have to waste so much time selling that you coudl easily quadruple the profits by just doing some simple farming. |
