Ok, what you first need to do is really focus on your swordsmanship,axe, or hammer skill point, you have to decide wether you want to be a hammer guy/girl, sword guy/girl (recommended) or an axe guy/girl. as you are a warrior and need this skill more than all. So rise it about to 5-6 within lvl 7-8 (u should have it at that by that level). Then what you should start doing is start wasting your skill points on healing players and on strength, as this will make you an awesome tank and will be able to lead parties through missions very quickly, you should not worry about smiting and protecting or none of that until you really need that, which honestly you dont. So lets say for example you decided to become a sword guy/girl, forget abotu rising your axe and hammer mastery, as you should master the swordsmanship category and rise it to 12
. make sure to try to balance your strength and healing players, focus on your weapon mastery but dont forget about the others as well. This will make you an awesome tank, and with the right weapon and armor (knights armor :O)you will be invincible.
