Farming For very fast money against mobs, especially melee characters, you will want to be a Mo/Me The monks skill Shield of Judgment will knock down anyone attacking you, combo that with Balthazars Aura, Symbol of Wrath and you got 100 damage per second for each ajacent foe. If you really want to kill them fast, cast Zealots Fire on yourself and spam orison of healing or reversal of fortune, which will deal 45 fire damage to each ajacent foes, plus the 100 from the others, assuming that you have max Smiting, the reversal and orison will heal you while dealing lots of damage. Cast Life Bond on youself when you exit so you gain one energy each time you get hit. You would want to be a mesmer secondary. Why a mesmer? Casting spirit of failure, drain enchantment, energy tap, ether feast, and inspired health will give you a big energy bonus while giving some kind of disadvantage to your target. Use this strategy to farm Blessed Griffons outside Camp Rankor, Groups of White Mantle in missions, and any BIG group you can find with lots of melee opponents. This will earn you LOTS of cash, and a lot of purple and gold items. Chest Farming Chest farming is when you go to a chest close to a outpost or town and open it, take the items/gold, teleport back and repeat. A very good place for this is outside Marhans Grotto. There is a chest that will take you 10 seconds to reach, containing some type of item that you can salvage, earning 200-500 gold each 20 seconds. Depending on the spawn, there may be ice imps surrounding the chest, or there might not, either way, you have enough time to open the chest and loot what’s inside. |
