This is a build to basically make your monk invincible it is a pretty new build, me and my guidl have been messing with it. Edit: Trying to get premium here. EDIT!!!: I was forgot to say against melee. This is for against melee, and trust me if it IS againts melee, then they will not die. Skills: Protective Bond Balthazar's Spirit Mending Essence Bond Blessed Signet [or Bonnetti's Defence if your a Mo/W; I perfer signet] Healing Breeze Balthazar's Aura Shield of Judgement [Elite] Attributes: Healing: 13 Protection: 16[11] Smiting: 10[15] Divine Favor: 7 Weap: Any smiting rod Focus: 2 Sets: (1) +12 Energy Focus with -20 hp or more (2) Protection Icon, +1 Protection Skills (20% Chance while casting spells) Head Scar: Protective +1 Rest: Dont matter Runes: Superior Healing Superior Protection Superior Divine Favor Superior Smiting Superior (Duplicate) Health: 105 (If using -20 hp focus, its 85) Energy: Depends How to use the build: Cast Protective Bond with 16 in Protection and using the +1 protection skills icon. Eventually you will get it so you only lose 1 energy when hit. After that, cast mending, essence bond and balth's spirit. Blessed Signet to regen energy. If you did everything above, you should be invincible. Enjoy. (Only 4 mesmers or massive degen will kill you) |

With 105 hp, just 1 mesmer casting Conjure Phantasm (-5 degen) could kill you. Nevermind a Necro helping out, or if a warrior makes you bleed. The word "invincible" should not be brought up with this build, perhaps "good against melee enemies" would be better. 1 Mesmer could kill you easily. 4 would be overkill. |

yes I would like to say that any monk I have ever come accrossed I have killed in PVP with my mesmer, using all Mana Burning skills. I often with go right after a monk with a degen and cast a couple of spells that kill their health when they heal and cause them to commit suicide. No monks are invincible trust me. |

This build sucks for pvp, nice for monsters though because monsters aren't that smart. We already know about this build for monsters though |

Yah, NO Build is invincible, thats the point of guild wars PvP. And if you even think this build is good at ALL for PvP, ANY good team build has enchantment removal, however most noob teams dont, thinking its a waste of skills and taking there skills that do the most damage. |

This build is well known, especially throughout the GWOnline forums. You can actually get your health to 55 with a -50 life offhand. Now this build is only good vs non enchantment removal enemies, and ranged enemies make it hard for you too. You can do solo smite runs using a build like this, I should know because I have one. |

He would last about 4.5 seconds =P Invincible my !@#$%^&*. That said, my Monk has 2 sets af armor, 1 normal and 1 of all superior runes just for this build. I use it in the caves outside droknar's, the griffins, and the tengu outside riverside. |

I think that it is time to lock this, seeing as everyone knows that a mesmer would hand the hind quarters of an "invincible monk" back to them on a silver platter of doom. DENIED! |
