Once upon a time the deserter chest run produced alot of blue, purple and gold items from the 4 chests that appear after you take the Deserters Quest in Beacons Perch. It was nerfed so the items dropped were only whites. Well, there was a fifth chest during this mission, and it was NOT part of the quest. So it is still there and drops anywhere from 2-5 items, ranging from white, blue and purple. I also got one gold in the 10 runs I did. The items are not max damage but do contain weapon upgrades, so they can be valuable. The easiest way to reach the area is first go to Beacons and get the quest, then make your way to ice tooth caves. Exit the caves and let the minotaurs kill you. You will spawn right beside the exit to Delmidor Bowl. Take that exit and go to the right. Run past the monsters and run along the right hillside, holding down the alt key to see the chest. Open, get items and run back to the exit, go out and then back in. I will put up map to show location shortly. |

Thats fine since you got a great explanation on how to get there and stuff. I will add the pics to it as soon as i see it back in the confirmed section. Again it will only be the fifth chest that has anything other than whites in it and it is about 10-15 sec away from the four that materialize after you take the Deserter quest. |
