ok i just found this exploit and its very easy and can get you just around 14k in an hour
Head North of port sledge(Depending on your level, witch i recommend you use a level 18-20, bring about 8 henchies if your level 1-10, 5 henchies for 11-15, 3 henchies for 15-8, and 2 henchies for 19-20, because the more henchies you have the less gold you get...
sokeep heading north and follow the wall until you see the wall make a
SHARP LEFT TURN...
and thats where you dont follow the wall and just keep heading straight until you see about 7 trees that all have green leaves but an icy trunk...
pass the FIRST TREE ONLY, and thats where you will see about 8 enemies
use charge, or sprint to pass those anemies and walk about 15 feet away from them, and let the henchies do the job, if by any chance all of your henchmen die, or if therees only one left go there and fight...
Then keep heading north until you spot a guy in full armor on a big elephant looking think, thats who you want to kill...
he drops GREAT ITEMS
LOTS OF PURPS
SOME GOLDS
And some highly salvageable blues
and unfortunately, some whites

The Guy normally drops about 5 items per kill
