These are my skills and my build:


Skills:
Blinding Flash ( Stop those annoying Rangers )
Chain Lightning ( Multiple Person Damage )
Lightning Strike ( Massive Damage )
Lightning Orb ( Massive Damage )
Lightning Touch ( Incase they get near )
Aura Of Restoration ( For some health )
Resurrection Signet ( Everyone hates you if you dont have this )

Build:

Air magic: 12 + 1 = 13
Earth magic: 0
Fire magic: 0
Water magic: 0
Energy storage: 12
---------------
Beast mastery: 0
Expertise: 0
Marksmanship: 0
Wilderness survival: 0

Using Spike ( Air magic ) skills have massive damage and are good in the tombs and arena's because they deal over 120 damage on Monks and Mesmers

Spiking is best usefull on:

1. Monks & Mesmer's Armor
2. Elementalist's
3. Warriors

Yea, but this is also very well known, and chain lightening was also nerfed in an earlier patch.

Also, couldn't your attributes be better if you got one of those magic stones on your headpiece that gave you +1 air magic? AND maybe a superior rune? (and minor energy storage)

the one posted above is a very poor spiker build..

Elemental Attunement
Air Attunement
Glyph of ele Power
lightning strike
lightning orb
chain
blinding flash
rez sig

with the 2 attunements up you get 80% of the energy you cast back so you can cast all day

keep the glyph on, and with certain weapons you could get a 20 attribute point hit 16+2 from glyph and +2 more possibly from weapons

the best way to do this is get 5 spikers 2 monks and a shutdown mesmer..have the mes take out the proto monk so all you spikers can just own people..

Air magic 12+4 (sup and head item)
energy storage 12+1

make sure one of your eles is a ranger with frozen soil :D so when you kill things they cant be ressed super quick

ive made it to the hall many times with that build..if you dont have a good caller though you will never get anywhere..you gotta attack at the same time! :D
