I've done the Gates of Kryta missions so many times now helping out other people and guildies w/ new characters. A lot of them don't know the bonus or don't want to do it because of having to fight them Phantoms with their Chain Lightning skills. I think that there is between 12-15 total. Well, this is a small guide on how to do this bonus without ever having to fight the phantoms at all. 1- When doing the mission, grab the pig. It'll be in the first fenced area to the left as soon as you start the mission. 2- When you get to the village, give the pig to the little boy and get the bonus from the dad right next to him - to your left from the boy. 3- Fight your way to the White Mantle Justicar, clearing your path BUT DO NOT TALK TO HIM. 4- Go back to the bridge then go under it and follow the river to the chest. After you cross under the second bridge you'll have to fight off a couple of drakes. Run along the left side afterwards until you get to the chest BUT DO NOT OPEN IT. 5- Send one person to go BACK to the Justicar and after the player gets there, have them let you know THEN you open the chest and pick up the book. 6- After the book is picked up, the person at the Justicar talks to him. You'll be brought to the Justicar with the book in hand. Now just return the book for a quick and easy bonus. The rest of the team MUST WAIT THERE! They cannot follow the White Mantle until the person gets back from returning the book. Otherwise, the White Mantle will go through the mission and you'll have no choice but to play short handed.
