Farming Iron Mines Mission w/ Invinci monk. : GW Submissions

The Iron Mines mission is completely farmable with the invincimonk build all the way up to infusion.

The Run:

Run past the first group of monsters and Summit that you will find fighting. This group is a waste of time to try to kill because they will not pay enough attention to you for you to do signifcant damage.

Follow the path to infusion, avoid the mursatt and jade armors. Eventually you will find patrolling giants. These giants will patrol across the frozen river. Do NOT engage the giants until they have crossed the river onto the right side. Also, Do NOT go close to the river or step on it, stay on the right bank. The reason for this is azure shadows will spawn on the river and engage the giants. If this happens you will lose any items you would of gotten from the giants. This goes for both groups of giants that cross the river.

Strategy for defeating giants and azure shadows:

Keep bonnetti's defense always on when not using shield of judgement. As well, always use balanced stance when fighting azure and giants. The reason being both mobs have knockdown capability.

After you defeat the giants on the lake, it is really straight forwayd. You will just follow the path, and kill enemies as you see them. You should run into giants, trolls, griffons, white mantle, and azure shadows on the run, not to mention 3-4 chests at sometimes, so the run is obviously very profitable.


What to watch out for:

Avoid engaging bosses and casters.
