Angelic Spearmaster P/x

Here's the gear I use:

15^50 14-27 Collector Spear Of Fortitude
+5e 14-27 Collector Spear Of Fortitude
Command Shield with 20%/-5, +30hp
Motivation Shield with 20%/-5, +30hp
Maxed armour set (I use Elite Sunspear dyed black)
Survivor Insignias on all gear possible
Two slots for stat runes
One slot for Vigor Rune
Two slots for Vitae Runes

Spear 12+3+1
Command 10+1
Leadership 8

Spear Of Lightning
Burning Spear
Wild Throw
"Go For The Eyes!"
Aggressive Refrain
Leader's Comfort
Angelic Bond {E}
Sunspear Rez Signet/Signet Of Capture

This can chuck out a fair amount of single target damage at perma 25% haste and a lot of adrenaline building, whilst simultaneously buffing your team's crit rate (GtfE charges once every couple of seconds). Wild Throw rules in Nightfall, since there's so many mobs with block/evade stances. Since you're at the back, you can buff your tank with Angelic Bond as he charges and share damage with him, healing with Leader's Comfort when neccessary. You can also effectively battleheal with this combo too. Don't be fooled into thinking LC is a great heal though, as a lot of people seem to be; it isn't, it's average. Slow cast, long recharge. :)

why not use all the C & P?

Seeing as there appears to be a lack of Paragon builds posted, I thought I'd post mine. These work well at all levels, obviously the level at which you can cap the elites notwithstanding. PvE is pretty easy so I dont feel the need to make total power builds. Rather, I prefer builds that are both fun and functional.

Here's the gear I use:

15^50 14-27 Collector Spear Of Fortitude
+5e 14-27 Collector Spear Of Fortitude
Command Shield with 20%/-5, +30hp
Motivation Shield with 20%/-5, +30hp
Maxed armour set (I use Elite Sunspear dyed black)
Survivor Insignias on all gear possible
Two slots for stat runes
One slot for Vigor Rune
Two slots for Vitae Runes

Motivation Healer P/w

Check out the PvP forums for this build. It works exactly the same in PvE. Spam shouts to keep your energy up and your Mending Refrain refreshing. very simple, very effective.

Angelic Spearmaster P/x

Spear 12+3+1
Command 10+1
Leadership 8

Spear Of Lightning
Burning Spear
Wild Throw
"Go For The Eyes!"
Aggressive Refrain
Leader's Comfort
Angelic Bond {E}

Party-Buffing Shouts P/W

Spear 12+3+1
Command 10+1 (Im not sure how I tweaked this, but Never Surrender ended up at 6hp regen iirc)
Leadership 8

Spear of Lightning
Burning Spear
Wild Throw
Soldier's Fury {E}
"Never Surrender!"
"Shields Up!"
"Watch Yourself!"
Sunspear Rez Signet/Signet Of Capture

This build does pretty damn good single target damage and supports the party well with Shields Up/Watch Yourself in a chain, and Never Surrender for extra partywide healing.

Burning Bonder P/W

Leadership 12+3+1
Spear Mastery 10+1
Command 8+1

Burning Refrain
Anthem Of Flame
"They're On Fire!"
"Go For The Eyes!"
"Watch Yourself!"
Leader's Comfort
Angelic Bond {E}
Sunspear Rez Signet/Signet Of Capture

Between Burning Refrain and Anthem of Flame, most melee enemies should be on fire most of the time. "They're On Fire!" and "Watch Yourself!" will cut down on incoming damage considerably, and GtfE/Watch is like an energy battery. The comfort/bond slots can be anything you like really, but given that this is a more back line character, a little bit of extra healing power never hurts.

Paragons can do a lot of stuff, and they're very different to other classes in the way they play. Experiment and have fun, they're pretty damn cool. The only trouble I really have is fitting both rez and cap sigs on a bar with all the skills I want to combo :)
