henchie teleport trick : GW Submissions

OK, this is mainly useful for if you are a runner and you arent running a full party. Since all henchies have a resurection signet except for the monks they can all resurect you pretty fast. The problem is that they die before they can rez you. To get past this detail tell your henchies to stand at the portal you came through with your henchie commands. If you die tell your henchies to walk through the portal. Henchies cannot zone your party so when they go through the portal they will teleport to your location, hence allowing them to rez you and allowing you to keep going on your way. This is especially helpful for harder runs such as Beacons- Droknar's forge. Hope this helped!:D

not especially a runner's tool (imo), (don't want the paying customer's thinking you KNOW your gonna be killed) more a help to those seeking cartographer's title.

so to clarify ->

upon first entering zone plant the flag that controls your henchies/heroes right in front of you.

start your mapping (or run) when you get killed, wait for the roaming mobs to disperse so there will be less chance of your immediately dying again when rezzed.

click on the henchie to change your view.

double click flag icon then plant it past the zone marker (inside town/outpost).

the henchies will turn and run to town, but as OP said that will not cause you to zone into town/outpost....you can see (if several henchies are up) one henchie vanish (as if zoning) the others turn to run to you..

your screen returns to your character; rezzed with one or two of your henchies teleported to you, the rest are running to you (they may not survive).

this is a nice trick for cartographer title hunters you can continue on your way....but with henchies by you they can sometimes slow a running build down as they fight everything and might get killed if body blocked by mobs instead of following you.......
