I dont know if this has already been posted or if it's just common knowledge to the public but ill take the time to post it.
If you are new to guild wars and u want to get straight to the pvp... you probably dont have any skills yet except for the ones that are provided or maybe ur just lazy and you want to get some easy faction (personally i dont care). To start create a new or use an existing pvp-only character. You spawn in the Great Temple of Balthazar. Now if you turn around you should see an instance portal thing that goes to the Isle of the nameless. Once there walk up the steps and talk to the guy and get the quest... complete the quest and then go talk to the next guy that wants to send u to practice arena's... The thing is if you win these arenas u get balthazar faction... and these arenas are REALLY easy and u can get like 2.5k balth faction each time u do this but after like 2 or 3 times u don't get more faction until the next day. here ya go.
