Howdy, folks! Not sure if this is widely known, but I found this out about the AI of monsters and heros. They will not cast chaos storm on you if you do not have casters equipped. This also goes for heros, they won't cast on critters w/o a visibl caster. I found this out in the Deep. There's a section with several mesmers who spam chaos storm. Equip bows/swords/shields and they won't spam it. Yer kinda tricking them. Neato. Again, not sure if there's a write-up anywhere else or not. But thought it interesting.
