Closed BETA Phase extended Due to unforeseeable circumstances, we have been forced to extend the closed BETA period. We had initially aimed to open the servers to all current CABAL accounts on the 13th June, however this phase will no longer take place. Instead, on the 13th June, the Closed BETA phase will be expanded to all paid accounts which were active before CABAL went offline; which includes all those users who had a subscription lasting until the date after 12pm GMT on the 21st May 2007. While we apologise to those users who had hoped to return to CABAL for our open beta phase, we believe this decision is in the long term interest of the game. By limiting the increase of players to only active accounts, we believe it will allow us to test the new system and server more effectively. The game will continue to be under Closed BETA for an additional week, until the 20th June, and will then be rolled back as initially planned to the time of the server being taken offline. We now aim to start Open BETA on the 20th June 2007. We are confident of making this target and during this phase we will now allow all previous players, plus any new players who register. In effect this decision only affects those who had previously had an account with CABAL, yet were inactive, and players who had planned to start the game with the opening of the servers will still be able to do so on the 20th June. Below is the new outline of the testing phase, and we hope their will be no further delays: Closed Beta (Extended): 6 - 19th June 2007 Open Beta (Including both old and new accounts): 20th – 26th June 2007 Launch: 27th June 2007 In addition to this we have opened a brand new sub-forum to discuss Closed BETA topics. This forum is open to the public, yet is intended for the sole discussions on the testing of CABAL Online. All bug reports and queries should still be sent to our support system. Once again we apologise for the delay, but look forward to a stable Nevareth for all users to enjoy! |
