Out of Linewood, there is a quest giver who issues one called Goggles. You need to head to an underground facility not far away and recover 3 pairs of goggles. The second pair is called Rotten Goggles or Rotting Goggles...I can't recall.

In the room where you find these there appears to be an insta-spawn good for grinding. The foes are Throwback Crushers (lvl 8 or 9) if I remember correctly. I watched a guy here for about 5 minutes---he was knee-deep in corpses and most of the time 2 Crushers spawned and charged him. He was standing against the same wall the goggles are located...just beyond the desk where they sit.

If I was a melee-toon, I would have stayed longer and joined it.

Where is the quest npc exactly? Could you give some more directions?

It's a long quest-line and I believe the guy who gives the quest is out of Linewood...he's a merchant. It's either Jason (something) or the one who's last name is Meebs. I'm pretty sure I turned in the completed quest to this guy (which ever one it is) but I can't say if they are ones who started the quest-line or not.

My apologies for not remembering... Try a search for "Goggles" and see what comes up. That was the name of the quest. And the room I watched the guy slaying the spawns was the one that had the 'rotting' or 'rotten' goggles in it. (you have to recover 3 pair of goggles from this bunker and each one is named something different).

If you don't have the quest line and just want to go find the room, is the room that looks like a hole was blown in the wall---it's how you enter the room. There is rubble around and a desk on the left side of the room. On the desk is where you find the goggles but just past it, against the wall is where this guy was standing. I have another spot that's just as good--see my other submission.

Found it but the spawns are normal. They must have fixed this already.

too bad...as I think those Throw-backs are more xp than the Needle Eye Observers from the other spot I posted on.

Can another member confirm this to be nerfed so it can be moved to the nerfed area.
