fallout of vendor exploit

If you took advantage of this exploit, be prepared that your account will most likely be locked and/or banned starting today. They have sent out mails that contain the following content.
Dear [Name],
We are contacting you regarding your account [Accountname] for Star Wars™: The Old Republic™.
We wish to notify you that you are in violation of our Terms of Service.
From an investigation of your account, we can see that your character has carried out the following violation:
Credit Farming
As a result of this violation we are locking your account with immediate effect until we have fully reviewed your account.
We will be in contact with you shortly following our review.
Please note that violation of our Terms of Service may result in a suspension or ultimately a permanent account closure. We encourage you to familiarise yourself with our Terms of Service which can be found here:

So you only did the vendor exploit? Credit farming sounds more like low level chest farming in ilum.

Hmmm, I don't see anything about credit farming in their TOS.

Yeah, I looked through it as well there is nothing in ToS that states credit farming.

Yep I got banned as well as a friend of mine who did it but 1 of them is still not banned probably soon ?
Were you guys low or high lvl or lvl 50s doing this ?
Do you guys think they will reinstate us soon if ever ?

Still nothing and over 200 million... did you all start buying stuff off the AH like mad the day after or during? Thats how I see them tracking all this so fast.

One of my guildies got caught. 1 week ban, same thing. He was only level 38 when he did it and only for 1.5 million... hahaha
I havent been banned now a guildie that was suspended (Was told to call CS) THE SAME NIGHT he was doing it... haha

1-week ban here as well.
168 hours? Just enough time to log back in and pay them for resubs.
They didn't want to pass up the few thousand dollars (at least) @ 15/month (at least for 1 month subs, more for 3+) that they'd lose if the bans were perm, since we know a ton of people did this one.
That info was on the public non-members section of this site, and many others, and floated around guilds. A lot more people probably did this than we think considering how easy it was. It's not like you had to install packet sniffers and other manipulation tools.
So, who is going to be the guinea pig and pay the game resub fee when this ban is lifted to find out what they've done to our characters and their inventory?
