This is clearly a forum about cheats hacks exploits etc. But I'd like to know the rules, if any,, on discussing player scamming. I remember a scam in PW involving tye cat shops that would technically be an exploit. I just don't know how this.community would feel about things like that.

Its allowed but with some reservations.

1. If its something that is breaking the law we wont allow it. IE here is the ftp account for the tera servers to hack them. Or open an item then return it for a profit.
2. In game stuff is pretty much 100% allowed because while some players might use scams for their advantage, the fun of a MMO is the realism and in a real world we have scammers.
3. Since its posted it helps to keep members here from being taken advantage of due to them.

I hear you. Scamming for real money is a big no on my moral compass. Virtual items are a whole different story. Thanks for the insight
