Mouse cursor freezes when recording

When I try to record a macro the mouse cursor freezes as soon as I click "record".
Hitting F12 does nothing. No others keys work either. I am forced to alt+ctrl+del out of the game.
How can I fix this? Is it a bug in the newest version?
