tips on macro speeds

I changed the mouse delay speed to -10 as suggested by admin. This makes the mouse speed work approx twice as fast as normal. Have been running it some time and have had no problems caused by the extra speed ,although dont know if i was to make it even faster it might cause probs, cos im happy with this speed.

tips for error free speed running;-

when recording macro have the mouse delay set to say -10 and have the box ticked, then just record as u would normally.

when u run that macro always have the higher speed box ticked as errors occur if u run it at normal speed.

You can run normal 'pre-speed' marcos at the upgrade speed if ther is no walking of ur char involved. If ur char has to walk to get say mats then
chances are that error will occur 'although if ur lucky sometimes its ok' but best to make a new macro tbh.

General hint about moving ur char in macro:-

If u want to move ur char from say A to B, try not to hold down mouse button and have ur char follow. Best way i found is just to click on 'B' (if its on screen) and let ur char make his own way there. If u cant see 'B' on ur screen then take mouse to edge of screen and click just once. Wait till ur char gets there and repeat until u can see 'B' then click just once on 'B'. Basically the less clicks the less to go wrong.

If your having real problems with your char moving to the correct location. What i did was before starting recording put a piece of copper or whatever on the route so i could click on it during the recording. this makes movement precise as ur char will move to that point and pick up copper during recording but will just move to that exact spot during running of the macro.

Hope this dont sound to involved, just thought i'd post a few things that i've learned while making macros and hopefully u might find of some use. Likewise if u have found other ways of better macro recording plz post as i always welcome new and easier ways of doing things :D

Yeah great ideas :D
The only problems I seem to have is:
When I'm running to get mats from WH, someone (or a bric) always stops me from walking to where I want, then unless I stop the macro, I'm walking/running all around the Reagant Vendor (I cook you see :p).

See where it says macro test? If you click that and write in say Beef Jerky you can record just for that, then to do another 1, clikc again write new name and record. Then when u have doen this for all your macros you can scroll thru them.
