POE Auro and Support Gem Bug

Turn on your aura, then apply your support gem to the socket. You will gain the support gems benefits but the mana cost multiplies will not penalize you like it should. Not sure if its a bug or a clever way to play the game.

This bug seems to not be working right now. I have checked it and nothing happens.
