TU Bucks for continued support on programs

I have a general suggestion for users who make a program and then continue to support it. At this moment in time a user gets a one time TU Bucks of 'X' amount for initially creating a working program. Well what incentive does a user have in continuing to support it? Also, what if the user who creates the program runs out of a premium membership? How are they to continue updating their program?
So therefor, I recommend a small incentive of TU Bucks for those users that continue to support there projects. Obviously there should be guidelines such as:
- Continue support of their program for 1 month
- Program must still be in working status
- Program must have some upgrades done to it since it was first released
- Program must be a 'hot' / 'good' program and is a sought out one
Once those requirements are met, the user should be entitled to at least one month premium to allow the continued support and to prevent the good programs from becoming outdated.
This is just a small recommendation I have and I hope others agree with me. Because I hate seeing the good programs go outdated due to whatever reason. Or I hate seeing members join the site for a certain program that is advertised and then they try downloading it and it doesn't work.
So my recommendation is for a small incentive for users to continue to update their program and to help prevent the good programs going outdated.
What do you guys think?
