I dont know if this is a known problem or not but these two programs dont seem to like to run together. Any idea why?

because htey use almost the same method. Each one hooks the ffxi window when its loaded, xunleashed does it so that it can put stuff over top the game, fraps does it so that it can take a screenshot of what appears to be hte entire screen

That's why you use clipper. for a screenshot program clipper > fraps. It doesn't do video though.

They work together just fine.

Load FFXI with XU, when game is loaded(movie starts playing or first screen appears) and the XU bar is able to be pulled up, alt tab out of game, start fraps and log back in. FRAPS will then work as will XU both at the same time, works every time for me just fine. Guess FRAPS has priority over hooking, but if you hook XU first then FRAPS after alt tabbing they both can hook.
