Windowed Mode

As I'm sure we've all discovered, the game crashes in anything less than full-screen. This is awful and I was wondering if there is a way to run it in a windowed mode? Perhaps a program that FFXI can use as a vector to run in a window?
Any info or suggestions are welcome! [:)]

As of now, I'm running XP Pro on a single processor system =/

then you cant because xp wont allow it and since ffxi isnt opened directly but through an alternate program you cant set window mode to it

ARegister to unlock hidden link come on. There has to be a way. I have XP, I'm sure it can be done.

Actually, I'm very interested in finding out if I'm able to run this in a window if possible.
I'm running ffxi on windows 2000, on a SMP machine.

as stated below, due to the fact that the actuall FFxi program is run by POL viewer it is in all truth not likely that in XP you can run it in windowed mode

Register to unlock hidden link
try running POL then running the windower.
If you log out of FFXI and POL doesn't come up:
exit the windower.
right click the desktop
go to properties
go to settings
change your desktop resolution.
change it back.
POL is back.
don't ask for support I just found this.

Oh yes, I'd like a free premium account but ;_; i see that 2 other ppl posted the windower already ;_; tell me what you want me to make. I"m thinking about making a program that runs your chocobo to any spot in the game based on zones and way points. Anyone wanna help me out?
