Anyone know a tool that take decent screenshots in FFXI? Maybe possibly also make movies and such? I had one before, but i had to reformat my computer so i lost all info on it.

Someone had mentioned Fraps to me for making movies. But I think there are other DirectX recorders out there as well, but never really looked. Haven't looked at fraps to closely, but I think there's a screenshot option as well, so you can get screenshots of a windowed FFXI screen.

yeah, fraps can do it all, only thing bad with it is thats its a 30day evaluation.

Yes, Fraps 2.0 does have a 30 day evaluation, and since getting a cracked version isn't the appropriate thing to do, I won't tell you about the cracked version of fraps 2.0 out there.

Err. cracking fraps is easy. But thats not the program i was looking for.
The one i'm looking for is a JP program translated by someone. Maybe someday i'll find out.

I can't help with the movies, but the screenshot program I use is from grabclipsave.com
the shots look pretty nice, and its super simple to use
