Hiya all, I am new user of XUnleashed, I followed the instruction to do but I can't run my FFXI when using X-Unleashed programme, anyone could help me solve it, great thanks.

P.S. I use Japanese Version of FFXI, is it avaiable work with XUnleashed?
I set the Launch Path as :
C:\Program Files\PlayOnline\SQUARE\PlayOnlineViewer\pol.exe
is it correct to set as 'pol.exe' at last? or just 'pol' ?

In addition, as the above mention 'DEP' in Window, I don't know what is 'DEP' and is it necessary or must to turn it off, and if need to do, could anyone teach and show the step here how to do with it, thank you very mcuh. I still can't run FFXI through Xunleashed programme. T.T

Uninstall/Remove your gamepad and see if that helps. I am working on a fix that should be out later tonight.

I hope you can get it whacked out Admin.. It has been frustrating seeing the black screen of death...

I have unplugged my gamepad, disabled gamepad support from the FFXI config and playonline config utilities I've also tried various configuration options, and FFXI still crashed after hitting play from within xunleashed.


Admin, you suggested a fix will be available several times already. Can we please have an accurate time? As I understand it, the update to the xunleashed program was for gamepad related issues, since the gamepad stopped working as soon as the game lost focus. That problem affected me, and although I am glad to see that work is being done to get past that, this seems like it is causing more harm than good. Before, people with gamepads were able to use xunleashed. Now most of us can't even launch the game without it crashing. Please update this as soon as possible. I thoroughly enjoy the use of xunleashed but it's useless to me now as is.

I had already uninstalled my gamepad, writing pad, bluetooth device driver and disable gamepad in FFXI config but I still crashed and back to Window after click 'Play' in XUnleashed, belows are my log:

If it crashes back to pol then it's NOT XUnleashed which is the problem. Make sure you can launch the game at all before you complain at XUnleashed

i can launch the game without a problem...

I am sure my FFXI can be lauched without XUnleashed, but never can be lauched through click the 'Play' botton in XUnleashed......

That implies you haven't tested it.

Finally, I had re-installed my OS & FFXI, after that XUnleashed was successfully launched with FFXI. Thank You all help here and sorry any boring I made.

Now, could any experience XUnleashed user recommend some useful macro and scripts for me please? I am eager to beat the JP HNM vokers soon. Thanks alot for your help /bow & /salute
