I'd like to start by saying its not that AMAZING but I am shooting for a premium.

1st, I make my gil by farming. Im level 54 and Jellys in Korrolokka Tunnel drop slime oil worth 20k a stack. Any character level 50 or above can farm these at a decent speed. THF treasure hunter 1 and 2 are much desired in this. I have Treasure Hunter 1 with my level 15 THF subjob (when i farm this im RDM/THF). Jellys are also found inside the horuto ruins outside windurst but in smaller numbers (like a level 20 can solo these easy inside ruins) and they also have the same drop rate. Last few details, these mosters are weak to magic, ESPECIALLY fire element spells, but for you fighters out there they have like a 20-30% resistance to physical attacks, id say nearly as much resistance as elementals do.

2nd, About changing your resolution, and yes im "borrowing" this information from a friend's site.

-1st you need to open up your registry editor, be careful because you could potencially ruin your computer >.>. To do this go into your start menu select "Run" then type in "regedit" with no quotes.

-Now that you have this up you should be able to nagivate yourself to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PlayOnlineUS\SquareEnix\FinalFantasyXI
Now, here are the files, 0001 is the overly grafic resolution width, number 0002 is overlay grafic resolution height, 0003 is background resolution width, 0004 is background resolution height.
All for of those are in HEX for those of you who do not know what HEX is (not too sure myself) here are the values for the resolutions...

RES HEX
2048: 800
1792: 700
1536: 600
1280 :500

Now you can double your FFXI resolution!!! Now I wouldn't bring up overlay too high because you wont be able to read the text on your screen. Final words, FFXI cannot take a HEX above 800 (2048) if you apply a HEX above 800 FFXI will crash, and it could harm your computer Im not completly certain of all the damage risks.

EDIT: I forgot to add that when there are no other farmers there I can make up to 100,000+ Gil an hour with Slime Oil. I have also had 5 or 6 occasions when 1 Jelly has dropped 2 Oils.

Aw com'on will anyone reply ;; I thought the resolution thing was pretty cool ;;. I can also post a program that can do the resolution work for you and also manage grafic and sound files as well as converting FFXI sounds to mp3...

As a lvl 60THF with TH2 farming those slimes Korroloka Tunnel, I can get up to 3 slimes sometimes per kill. And at 23k per stack on Fairy, I can make about 150k/hr. Also, if you are a THF or /THF, to spice things up and to break the monotony, farm the bogy type mobs in there and steal Cottons Cloths (25k stack). Also, as of late, Spider Web drop rate is at about 25 Giant Spiders before one will drop. I'm still in the process of testing this out.

K well keep us updated jasonlisieski so we can find out if it works or not.

I am a lv 58 RDM/THF with TH1 and soon TH2 with Millionaire Desk. I can make around 100k an hour, I see people all the time get 3 drops at once but I never have gotten more than 2. Also, keep some Iron Ore on you for the Morion Worm worth 200k, except on Unicorn where the Gillsellers take it all and the stupid !@#$%^&* GMs do nothing >.>;

lmao millionaire desk. roflol. it has been tested and does not increase drop rates, or add to TH. only 2 items do that, lvl 70 thiefs knife, and lvl 75 assasin's armlets (af2, dynamis lord drop, good luck, only ever witnessed 1 pair on fairy).

search allakhazam there is a guy who talks about a GM convo he had about it. It only stacks to make TH1 TH2 and thats it

duh asshat the question of the millionaire desk was posed during an official interview with s.e. developers, and they specifically stated that it doesn't affect treasure hunter in any way. now, being that allakhazam is a public forum, if i had high enough woodcraft to make millionaire desks, and i posted they affected TH, i would be able to sell them for a lot more....it was a hoax to affect the price of a crafted product. dont beleive everything u see on allakhazam. it's the most read forum out there. i prefer http://ffxi.somepage.com. millionaire desk was tested by many ppl who i both know, and some i dont. none made a noticeable difference in drops. any diff coulda been attributed to moon phase, elemental strength/weakness, or just blind luck

Millionaires desk, gives a + to Conquest points, not TH1 or TH2

more like Effing ps2 and its non-ability to do anything related to giving you an upper hand no FFXI. I swear I would give an arm and a leg to know of any ability the ps2 has that can be used to give users an uperhand against those evil PC users. arg we cant do anything including bots, cheats, and probably most exploits
