mog house quest problem ?

About 6 weeks ago, Mog finally asked me for the 2 items for the 3rd mog house upgrade (nobles bed). At the time, I couldn't find one of the items in the auction house so I waited until the next morning and checked again and found them. Well, over night the conquest update was released and Bastok was no longer in first. Mog also, no longer asked me for these items. I tried trading them to him but nothing happens.
I was able to get this quest with rank 7 fame; my fame is now rank 8 -- fame is not an issue unless over the last month they change the requirements to rank 9?
I've tried removing the bed until the next update; then putting it back in until the next update when Bastok was in first. Still nothing happens.
My only options left are get rank 9 fame; but everywhere i check says you only need rank 7 for this one. or i can switch allegance to another city. I have rank 7 or higher in sandy and windy.
Anyone know a fix to this problem ??

You have to leave the bed in your moghouse by saturday US time and you'll get the quest on sunday. It's not dependent on whether your nation is 1st or not. It's dependent on the conquest tally being the time when you need to have your bed there.
Also make sure to talk to ur moogle after the conquest update on sunday in your home town.

i've left my bed in there for three weeks at a time without touching it and still nothing. I've removed it for a day and replaced it before the conquest tally. still nothing after the talley. (I found that suggestion on another site).
I'll be trying again this weekend ...

What's your fame? You need to have a certain level of fame to do the bed quest.

yes, you need rank 7. Bed quests are rank 3/5/7 respectively. I said I had rank 7 the first time I tried the quest -- also, when mog asked me for the items. Took me a couple days to get one of the items since all the auction houses we sold out. When I got the items, mog was not asking me for them anymore.
My fame on Friday was rank 8; I raised it Friday night to Rank 9. After this sundays tally, still nothing from mog. In my home mog house or in Jeuno.
I'm about ready to give up. I think something got glitched when I didn't give the items quick enough.

for some reason, edit button isn't working for me ... maybe this will.
I'm going to try to change to a different city tonight when i get home from work. I have rank 8 in Windy and rank 9 in sandy. Going to try sandy and see what happens next conquest tally.
I tried asking a GM in game but I waited 30 mins and no one got with me about it yet. I had to go to bed since it was almost 1am and I worked in the morning. May try them again tonight. I'll post here when or if i get this to work >.<

an update on this:
I contact a GM in game and told them of the problems I was having. They asked me to check my Bastok fame while they I was talking to them ... I have rank 10, I went and checked it again. Rank 10 still. He asked me to check my quest list; under current it listed "Moggles in the Wind". He/She said try to turn in the items -- I did, still nothing. They said they would look into any known issue with mog house and get back with me.
About a day later, I logged on just to check my plants. Went to mog house and guess what ... Mog asked me for the items again. Turned them in and now I got 80 spaces.
There was no conquest update because it was overnight Friday to Saturday. Don't know if this GM fixed a bug I encountered or reset my quest log or my game finally stopped being stupid? ... either way, I got 80 spaces now ^^

Long drawn out process that made me feel like an idiot in training. Asked me things like "are you sure you have a Raptor Mantle and not a Raptor Skin? Those names can be similar at times". How in the hell does a Raptor Skin look like a Mantle ? "Are you sure you are clicking TRADE?" Are you trying to trade with your moggle? ... ... god, the things I must do lol.
