I'm currently trying to raise some gil. For my lvl the best way I know of that right now is completing the Teacher's Pet quest out of the Windurst.

The problem I am running into however is I can never seem to carry more than one Two-Leaf Mandraora Bud. I collected one, faught for hours without getting another one. I went in, traded the one I had (plus the birds feather) took my gil and returned to fighting the little mandragora. The first battle I won, I recevied a bud.

Am I only able to carry one, or am I just having some bad luck?

that item is rare/ex meaning you can only hold one at a time!

If in the item picture there is an EX that means that the item is exclusive, meaning that you cannot trade the item to anyone or sell it on the AH.

If there is a RARE in the item then that means you may only carry one of those items at a time. Even if its in the ah or your storage or your mog safe or your deliverybox. It must be removed from your character before you can get another.

I did this for quick gil around lvl 20. I bought as many Coronets as i could from the Bastok music store. Bastok has to be in first place to get these. Wait until Bastok is no longer in first place and camp outside the guy in Windurst Woods that you trade them to for Windy Fame. Mandagora Mad I think ??

I paid ~150 gil each for them in bastok and resold ALL of them over night in bazzar for 1500-2000 gil each. ^^ Make sure you cannot buy them in bastok before you sell them though. I guess people may buy them here even if they can get them much cheaper in bastok but you will always get the gil-buyers that dont know how to best spend there money.

you can also buy regional sold items (the places that only sell items when a regional conquest for a city is in first place. Buy things that are used in low lvl crafts (lvl 40 and under) and camp your bazar outside the guild while you sleep. Make sure you charge just under what they are going for in the auction house. Do research before doing this though as things are not always cheaper from a NPC. I would sell things that stack or items that are used in many crafts. Sandy Flour, horo flour, certain kinds of fish, bird eggs, lizard eggs, dhamal steak ... up to you but again, do your research first!!!

This is untrue, you can have a RARE item on the AH for sale, or in delivery box and get another one. I've had 7 damp scrolls for sale on AH and 8 more in delivery box before (these items have the rare tag). The only time you cannot have two RARE items is if you have one in: mog house, storage, or inventory.
