Is bonecrafting one of the tradeskills that makes good profit? like is it one of the tradeskills thats up there.. haha i dunno should i reword it? lol

I wouldn't agree to premium for this guide though >.<; Good Tradeskill guides are widely available in other forums. A better quality version of this needs to be submitted ^^;.

It is not a very good or up to date guild... there is alot of new items added to help lvling. like 15-21 should be shell powder the items are realy cheap and the cloth crafters buy then realy fast for double your profit because it is a great alternative to green ribons 53-60

It may not be up to date, but it'sa good guide and it is helping a lot

awsome guide. Demon horns are 400k a stack on my sever...so to make things cheaper i made subligars at 60-65ish. requires 30cap leather. hope this added info helps. SH+1 risky. Reraise pins ftw

Bone Craft Guide

Ok well i recently begun bonecraft and i am very bored right now so i figured i would put together a guide ^^.

It's not nescessarily the best guide as this is very much server dependant however i found it the most efficient way for me to level. To give an approximation on price on Seraph (an expensive server) it cost me about 900k to hit 50 which i am on so far.

The main problem with leveling this craft is ALL the money is in HQ's until much later. I found that it was more efficient to sell my items to the NPC or in certain cases desynth them and re use the ingredients.

The result of this is that it is easy to level up fast as you have very little to AH but you lose gil.

Now that i have told you a lil about the leveling process i'll get to the guide ^^.

0-3 // Shell Earring
Crystal - Wind // Ingredients: Sea Shell x2
These do not sell fast at all... they are great for guild points when they get requested but you can't trade yet so just sell them to the bonecraft guild or a NPC vendor.

3-7 // Shell Ring
Crystal - Wind // Ingredients: Sea Shell, Fish Scales
These also do not sell so as with earrings sell to bonecraft guild or NPC.

7-9 // Bone Arrowheads
Crystal - Wind // Ingredients: Bone Chip x2
These do sell but not very well and for a loss, if you want to AH them then go for it, but if you want to just get on with it then sell to a NPC.

Alternative or 9-10
7-10 (Woodworking 2) // Bone Arrows
Crystal - Wind // Bone Chip x3, Arrowood Lumber, Yagudo Feather x2
These sell better on the AH but still not at a profit, i did 9-10 on these so thats an option too but i wouldn't recommend making too many.

9/10-17 // Bone Ring
Crystal - Wind (surprise surprise) // Bone Chip, Sheep Tooth
These can be desynthed but unless lightning crystals are incredibly cheap on your server then its pointless, sell them to the guild merchant or a NPC. You'll make alot and they don't ah well so its better to just vendor them, if your lucky you might get a HQ like the person next to me did ^^. Use Advanced Synth support up to about level 12/13 then synth support to about 15. (Save one for the test at 18 too)

TEST ITEM 20+ Bone Ring (from earlier).

17-25 // Beetle Ring
Crystal - Wind // Beetle Jaw
Buy the beetle jaws singularly if you can, from Jeuno i was getting them at 1k each as opposed to 30k a stack. I desynthed these back into Beetle Jaws but the fail rate is high, still worked out as useful as you can get skill ups on desynthesis and can re use the beetle jaws. Use Advanced synth support at first up to 20/21 then use basic synth support until 23.

25-29 // Horn Hairpin
Crystal - Wind // Ram Horn
I was at a loss for what to make for these levels but i found these reasonably effective, try and get the Horns undercut from Jeuno if you can. I made these short spurts then put advanced synth support on for desynthing them to minimise losing them. Once you've desynthed them re use the Horns.

29-33 // Beetle Arrowheads
Crystal - Wind // Beetle Jaw, Bone Chip
I sold these to a vendor, but you may want to AH them. Again buy the beetle jaws singularly if you can. You could start these early instead of Horn Hairpins but i found these worse.

33-38 // Fang Arrowheads
Crystal - Wind // Black Tiger Fang, Bone Chip
Incredibly similar to beetle arrowheads, get the tiger fangs singularly if you can and vendor or AH the arrowheads depending on what you want to do.

38-41 // Bone Knife
Crystal - Wind // Giant Femur, Walnut Lumber
I made the walnut lumber myself to lower its price but if you don't have Woodworking that will not be possible. I desynthed these but in the end it worked out to be as effective to sell them to the NPC, or if you have the patience then sell them in Jeuno...
((Desynthesis - Lightning Crystal // Bone Knife))

38/41-43 // Horn Arrowheads
Crystal - Wind // Ram Horn, Bone Chip
I hated making these but found no better alternative. It's worth AHing these, best place to sell them is San'doria. They are a nasty synth but i just gritted my teeth and got on with it, although i did do these on a good day (New Moon).

43-53 // Scorpion Arrowheads
Crystal - Wind // Scorpion Claw, Bone Chip
Advanced synthesis support up until about 48 or you will fail alot. I refused to pay full price for scorpian claws, getting alot in Jeuno for undercut prices (even 6 for 1g each). I am still making these now and am satisfied with the costs. I sent these all to my sandy mule to sell off, they sell reasonably well in Sandy and Jeuno.

53-60 // Scorpion Ring
Crystal - Wind // Scorpion Shell
This is my planned synth for 53-60, basicly i am gonna synth about 12 at a time then desynth and repeat. This seems to be the best synth for 53-60.

A few general notes.
- Use advanced synth support up to about 4-5 under the synth, this will reduce fails and the ingredients lost from fails.
- The switch to synth support up to 2-3 under.

- Leather Craft is a very important sub craft for Bonecraft it is essential to have it leveled for the majority of Bonecraft Profit synths.

A good way of utilizing the arrowheads instead of NPCing them.

- Level your Woodworking alongside Bonecraft, on most servers the arrows are profit and very easy to sell if you quiver them and sell them in jeuno. (Fang and Scorpion are an exception as they cannot be quivered) These arrowheads will take you from 30 Woodworking to 59.
