To sum it up though, some people were using a third party program to, steal items every time from monsters in old and new town movopolis(sp).

My question is, does anyone know what they are stealing? I'm guessing it was gold beastcoins.

That hilarious! But seriously, we all have those times when people point out things to us and we are like, "DUH!"

SE usually puts up an explanation for stuff like this. I was just thinking before they brought the game down, "I wish they'd tell us why they are bringing it down". Then I actually read the message they kept sending to the server and it said, "for more details read information on the Jan. 13th announcement".

So you aren't alone, we all have those duh moments. I just caught mine before I went and asked someone else,

Yup, you can steal gold & platinum beastcoins from these guys.

The scripts I've seen for exploiting this has been something like:

/ma Invisible <me>
↓
POS to some area with gobbies around
↓
/targetnpc
/follow <t>
/wait 30
/ja Steal <t>
↓
POS to a "safe" location
↓
/logout
↓
login and heal up
↓
repeat

This can of course be done in other areas but Movalpolos was attractive
cause it's a large area with relatively few people that could spot and report you.

you didnt even need to use 3rd party software. Just steal and use hide then log out.

The goblins in these areas had gold and platnium coins.
