hello everyone i am new to this forums. i have a question

if i buy a secondary account( i have 2 copies of ffxi) and use the same CC if i use bots and progs and such, will my regular account get banned as well. i have read conflicting info on that. would it be wise. also i run on different systems on my home network will the ip trace(if it happens) screw me as well using different machines on the same account.

the claim tool works with NM's right? if i used it on my regular account is there NM's i shouldnt use it on cause they are constantly being watched?

i am curious about the inherit risks before i buy a premium account and start playing around with stuff. is there any things i should be carefl while using.

but my major worry is loosing my original account or should i use my girlfirends account and make a second accoutn with that to avoid mine good one getting wasted?

I haven't tried any hacks but if the two accounts are under the same credit card, both will be banned I believe.

If not, they might ban your IP address.

the 2 machines i run will use different ip's i checked that out so that is no worry the CC hing i dont worry cause i will use my gfs but how well do the progs work ?

When I first started playing, I had 2 copies of the game (PS2 and PC) and I ran 2 different accounts.

One of them was a full time fish-bot on my PC. After about 4 months of 24/7 botting, I got banned lol... mind you, this wasn't from any of the programs on this site, and this was pre-patch.

I used the same CC for both accounts, and my non-botting one worked fine... so they must only ban your Content ID. Happy botting/hacking!

there is a chance they will ban both accounts if on the same cc. it depends what you do, if you get caught fish botting they will only ban one but if its hacking then they will generally ban both accs on the card but this doesnt always happen

technically if you are at your pc, then they cant ban you for fish botting right?

correct. as long as you can reply to them before they jail or ban you your good. when i fish i am surfing the net also but have the window low enough so i can see the chat log and part of a popup window if the GM's use that

Well personally i have never botted im semi interested but i rekon y pay for a game ur not gona play.
well if you think of it this way, i know families who play this game like families, mum, dad, kid, kid's bro, etc etc etc
each having there own account and id assume all on the same CC as they are a family
if one was caught doing something wrong eg botting
would SE really ban them all??? i mean it seems kinda dodgy to me.
and besides u can easily complain if u were caught on one account and honest on another just say like....your paying for your cousin who lives in another state
