My brother has ff XI. I want to play the game on my computer downstairs running on the same account. I don't want to buy another because that just seems a bit rediculous. I was wondering if anyone new a way that we can use the same account considering we are on the same network??

You can't use the same account at the same time. Accept it and just buy a second copy, it's how mmorpgs work.
There is NO way around this limit.

Me and my brother already tried, it just causes you to disconnect the other person when you log into POL.

To seperate accounts is the only way around it.

yeh it sux u cant have more than one person play one account but it does make sence if u think about it account = identity, 1 person can only have 1 unless ur a skitz =P (sorry if anyone reading this is just a joke)

tho wat u can do is buy another account i kno u dnt want to but ull love havin ur own it'll be better than sharing one...u know how much that would suck...get the windower and use 2 accounts on one comp so u can PL urself, just a little enticment to buy another account =P
