Hey this is my first real topic after reading bunches of posts! n.n

I thought this might be very useful since alla somepage MT dont really have mining items you get as far as I could tell so here is what I'v compiled so far:


fint stone (less common than iron)
Iron ( unbearably common IMO)
adaman ore (only got 1)
gold ore (only got 1)
mythril ore ( have 5 )
Troll Vambrace (3 or 4)
Troll Pauldron ( 2 of these)
Moblin mail ( only got 1)
moblin armor ( only got 1)
moblin mask (2 of these)

thats pretty much all I've gotten so far. This includes both Mount Zhayolm and inside Halvung, I can't stress enough how many iron ores I probably around 20 at the least so if you need iron here is where you need to be.

I have also been looking and you can apparently get O-ore here as well as luminium (both worth near 1 m on my server)

I've yet to get those but I'm hoping!

Please note this is waaaaayyyy better than Ifrit's cauldron /stagger

there is basically no aggro if you POS with sneak and invis on it is also easier becasue with the new .dat file that has the ToAU POS points in the halvung part it has all the mining points (some are a little off but just F-8 it to show mining point)

I personally Mount Zhayolm > halvun (F-9) as an escape to refresh my invis and sneak since there was no one there.

In halvung I used Halvung > Wajaom Woodlands to hide and use buffs
but I must warn you don't get cocky about using your POS because I did encounter a few groups on Mount Zhayolm luckily they didn't really find it interesting i kept popping up out of no where (i think they were JP)

I also just runic portal myself to the halvung staging point so its easy for me to go mining.

I use as a precaution my whm (level 26 used to be 28 until i went to ifrits cauldron ) and i have S+I and i just go my merry pick axing way

I was there for about a good 3-4 hours with 5 stacks of pickaxes so the break rate is low I also had mining gear on so figure that in as well

not even trying that long mining I netted about 175k-200k in one trip so not bad as oppose to getting 1 sulfer from ifrits cauldron and dying

200k in 5 hours....that sucks xD. You can get more than that in Zeruhn Mines ffs lol.

If you only make 200k in 5 hours there, thats terrible. I POS mine Halvung all the time and make a few Luminiums in less than a couple hours. Each one on my server goes for like 700k. Other servers have them selling for like 1mil or more. Not to mention the troll gear sells very very fast,so sometimes ill load up AH with that first, wait a few min. and check. Usually they sell within like 20 min. The Luminium ores sold very well for me as well.

You guys are lucky. In Midgard, luminiums are 350k and khromas are 500k. Midgard sucks.

yeah midgard sucks but still sort of fun. funny how people think zEUs bot the hell out of fafhog because they have claimed so much lately but in actuality the one person who does bot in the shell doesnt claim. the people who just wait for it to pop and spam manually claim it. i expect this post to show up in places like KI saying zomg they bot!!!eleventyonez but name a shell that does not have a member who bots. they may say they dont but they do

Not everyone bots.

I did try it but for me the risk of losing my account is not worth botting. Not to mention that people start to dislike you very fast once they find out you do bot. Only one person new that I bot and the reason I told him was so he could watch it to make sure it was not sending shouts or doing things I could not see.

I personally can care less that people bot. I just wish some botters out thier would be more considerate about others. If you have a bot problaly play allot too. Why annoy other players.

Again I have nothing about botters. Just the people that are asholes and abuse.

For everyone info I tested botting for about 5 hours total maybe less and I just did not like it. I am currently fishing and I think I am the only one that does not bot. It is so frustating sometimes. I just don't know why GM can't tell when fishers bot it is so easy.

People that fish and dont bot. Love to talk. Since it is so boring. Botters will not react will do nothing for hours on end.

May I ask how to get to Mount / Halvung? Sorry ^^;

And, are there any requirements?

I have POS, but was thinking about just using oils and pots.

If you don't have sneak / invis, going to ToAU in general is pretty stupid.


Personally I would never mine without the sneak/invis spells, because using the items will eat away your gil >_<.
